As a member of the Human Resources team, the Human Resources Generalist will be responsible for partnering with company leaders aligned with the implementation of best practices to support the achievement of corporate business objectives. You will be a partner with talent acquisition, employee relations, and program implementation. The position requires strategic thinking, strong written and verbal communication skills, talent management experience, collaboration, and independent judgment.

This opportunity is a hybrid position. Qualified candidates must be able to commute into our Phoenix office at least two days per week.

Responsibilities

• Provides support to employees, prospective employees, talent acquisition team, and management in understanding policies, timelines, and procedures.
• Manages day-to-day support for employer sponsored work authorization in compliance with federal, state, Canadian, and company policies.
• Acts as liaison between employees, talent acquisition team, counsel, and management, when necessary, including resolution and follow-up.
• Assists in evaluation of reports, decisions, and results of department in relation to established goals.
• Recommends new approaches, policies, and procedures to effect continual improvements in efficiency of department and services performed.
• Produces and analyzes reports and metrics, including ad hoc reporting.
• Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, compliance, and new technologies in human resources and federal and state employment law.
• Analyzes industry and internal trends and metrics in partnership with fellow members of the Human Resources group to develop solutions, programs, and policies.
• Plans, directs, and administers various human resource programs for all employees.
• Files annual compliance reports, including but not limited to EEO-1 Report and VETS 4212.
• Conduct regular data audits to maintain high standards of Human Resource practice.
• Demonstrates excellent judgment and discretion in supporting complex and confidential employee matters.
• Manages projects as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business or related field.
• 5-10 years of demonstrated human resources experience with increased levels of responsibility.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• In-depth knowledge of Federal, State, and Canadian employment law, including various employer sponsored work authorizations.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including experience communicating employment-related concepts to different audiences across the organization.
• Considerable knowledge of principles and practices of human resource management.
• Ability to compose and present comprehensive reports.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
• Proficient with HRIS platforms.
