NEW YORK – Carollo Engineers has opened new offices in New York City and northern New Jersey, in order to better serve municipal water and wastewater entities in the New York/New Jersey Metro area.  The new offices are located at 530 7th Avenue in New York, New York and 70 Hilltop Road in Ramsey, New Jersey.

“The Northeast area of our country, and specifically, the New York/New Jersey Metro area, faces daunting water challenges,” said Carollo New York Office Leader Scott Davis. “With Carollo’s singular focus on water, we bring proven solutions to help utilities address aging infrastructure, adapt to climate change, improve resiliency, and comply with new, more stringent regulatory requirements.”

Ranked by Engineering News Record as the largest engineering firm in the United States dedicated solely to water, the firm will bring its technical expertise and large-plant experience to clients in the New York Metro area. Carollo staff in the region have extensive experience working with the New York City Department of Environmental Protection, Passaic Valley Sewerage Commission, City of Newark, Westchester County, and others.

The New York Metro offices represent another East Coast foothold for the firm – adding to its offices in Massachusetts, Washington, D.C., Virginia, North Carolina, and Florida. Notable projects along the Eastern Seaboard include pioneering some of the most innovative pipeline inspection tools for the Washington Suburban Sanitary Commission’s Water Main Condition Assessment Program and designing wastewater sludge thickening and dewatering facilities for two of Miami-Dade County’s wastewater treatment plants – a capital project valued at $175 million.
