Dr. Burbano brings national expertise and extensive knowledge of South Florida’s water and wastewater utilities and regulatory framework to our Miami office.
A process expert and former treatment design professor at USC and FIU, he assists clients in addressing critical water quality and treatment challenges, including PFAS treatment, softening, media filtration, disinfection, activated carbon, ion exchange, and membranes.
Over 30+ years, he has managed design and construction of treatment facilities ranging from 20 gpm to 750 mgd nationwide and served as project manager for key Miami-Dade WASD projects from their Consent Decree, Ocean Outfall Legislation, and Renewal & Replacement programs.
