CBS News spotlights DCT AWPF

California’s ongoing water challenges demand innovative solutions, and Los Angeles is rising to the occasion with one of the most ambitious water recycling projects in the nation. The Donald C. Tillman Advanced Water Purification Facility (DCT AWPF) is set to break ground in the San Fernando Valley this winter. This $740-million initiative, led by Los Angeles Sanitation and the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power (LADWP), will provide a reliable, drought-resistant water supply for over 250,000 residents by transforming wastewater into purified, reusable water.
