Qianru Deng Explains How Digital Twin Technology Benefits Houston’s Northeast Water Purification Plant Expansion

The City of Houston’s $1.765 billion Northeast Water Purification Plant expansion project will expand the 80-million-gallon-per-day plant with an additional 320 mgd in treatment capacity. Serving as the City’s owner’s advisor, Carollo was involved in the development of the digital twin technology that is being used to model the entire treatment process and plan for “what if” scenarios.
