Seasoned executive Paul Schuler brings over 30 years of water industry expertise
WALNUT CREEK, CA, MAY 29, 2024 – Carollo Engineers, North America’s premier water engineering and consulting firm, is pleased to announce that esteemed industry leader Paul Schuler has rejoined the company as senior vice president and strategic advisor.
Having started his career at Carollo as a project engineer, Schuler returns with over three decades of leadership experience in the water industry. His extensive background includes prominent executive roles with SUEZ Water Technologies & Solutions and GE Water, where he spearheaded initiatives to drive sustained company growth. In these roles, his focus on strategic partnerships, customer development, and bringing new technologies to market led to year-on-year triple-digit revenue increases. Most recently, he led the business development efforts at a private-equity-backed infrastructure project startup.
In his new role at Carollo, Schuler will be instrumental in strengthening client relationships to support the firm’s growth. He will leverage his experience and industry connections to provide municipal and private sector clients with cutting-edge technology options, contracting concepts for faster project delivery, and project funding alternatives. A key focus will be aligning Carollo’s innovative solutions with client needs to navigate evolving regulatory and climate challenges to plan, design, and build resilient, sustainable water systems.

Schuler is a licensed professional engineer with a Master of Business Administration in Management, a Master of Science in Environmental Engineering, and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering.
