In 2010, the Sacramento Regional County Sanitation District (Regional San) started an extensive upgrade project for the Sacramento Regional Wastewater Treatment Plant, called the EchoWater Project. As part of this project, Regional San implemented the Tertiary Treatment Facilities Project, one of the largest tertiary filtration projects in the West. Design for the filtration facility was led by Carollo Engineers. This arcles provides information and highlights of this project.
